Emma's Journey - Boudoir Photography In February 2007 after much deliberation, Emma finally decided to upgrade to a bigger studio. All photography work had to stop so she and her army of 5 helpers could undertake the huge task of making the newly acquired space fit for use. It needed everything doing to it - it was literally a shell! Rather than kit it out her newly acquired space like a typical studio, she decided to make it truly vintage and unique, fully suiting it's purpose - a whole room offering boudoir furniture, huge mirrors, chandeliers, candles, cushions, chaise longues, feathers and antiques etc! Emma didn't want white walls, ikea furniture, a modern room with sets in the corner, she wanted to make it so everything could be used and no matter where in her studio you went or looked, you still felt as though you had travelled back in time! The "Shell" was transformed into a luxury parlour, a luxury vintage parlour at that and on 18th March 2007, the studio opened and Miss Boudoir® was born! By the end of Emma's first boudoir photography shoot, she had finally realised her purpose in life - to help as many unconfident women as possible using her photography and deliver a different approach to the standard "boudoir Photography". A year further down the line, she is happy to be expanding yet again and able to offer her unique service to even more women.
